This 5 acre pasture behind the house last October is where our goats like to browse. They have eaten many of the weeds in this field infested with spotted napweed. A thick mat of Purple Top turnips grow in between various cool season grasses. The increasing organic matter content of this soil has kept this field green after months of drought.
